Here Are 5 Ways To Be Unshakable In Motherhood
A foundation that does not wobble when the day does.

Some days motherhood feels like identity theft in slow motion.
You give and give, and somewhere between the laundry and the bedtime negotiation you wonder where you went. That feeling is real. It is also not the whole truth.
As women of faith we know there is more available to us than surviving until the children are older. There is a foundation that does not wobble when the day does. Here are five ways to stand on it.
One. Build Your Identity Before Your Routine
If your sense of self is built on how smoothly the day went, it will collapse by mid morning. You are a daughter of the Most High before you are anyone's provider of snacks.
Take the time, even five minutes, to be with Him before you are with everybody else. Not as a discipline to tick off, but as the place you remember who you are.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”Proverbs 31:25
Two. Lower the Noise, Not Your Standards
Most mothers are not overwhelmed by their children. They are overwhelmed by comparison. Ten thousand opinions on sleep, food, schooling and screens, all arriving before breakfast.
Choose a small number of voices you actually trust and let the rest go quiet. Peace is often on the other side of an unfollow.
Three. Let the Mundane Be Holy
The repetitive work is not wasted work. Meals, wiped faces, patient answers to the same question. This is how a child learns that the world is safe and that love is steady.
Nothing you do in obedience is small, even when nobody claps.
“Faithfulness in the ordinary is what raises extraordinary children.”
Four. Guard Your Home Like It Matters
- Decide what enters through screens, music and conversation.
- Keep rhythms simple enough to actually keep.
- Pray over the rooms your children sleep in.
- Protect rest, yours included.
- Say no often enough that your yes means something.
Five. Stop Mothering Alone
Isolation makes everything heavier. Find one or two women who love God and will tell you the truth. Ask for help before you are desperate for it. Let your husband carry what is his to carry.
Unshakable does not mean untouched. It means rooted. Storms will still come to your home. They will simply not be able to take it.
Rooted, not rigid.
Steady, not perfect.
Held, always.
